Bubblesort is a team of 2 web developers who have worked together in the software development industry for almost 4 years. We've spent a lot of time building large scale web applications within the public sector and our work is now in use 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, within this role we were only allowed to work until 6pm and we really, really like programming so now we're looking for a new challenge (and the opportunity to write code on Macbooks in casual clothes).
Things on the web are changing, the days of static html are over and Web 2.0 is here. There is now the technology available to provide powerful website that let you interact with your users. Luckily, these are the technologies we are passionate about which means we can build powerful, dynamic and elegant web applications for anyone who uses Bubblesort.
Bubblesort Blog
Welcome - April 28th 2009
The Bubblesort website is now up and running! Well, it's sort of up and running, the actual Bubblesort website is being worked on by Si in a lab someplace so I've popped this one up in the meantime. I'm still tinkering with it (even though it will eventual end up in the bin when the new one goes online) so it may change slightly over the next few weeks.
Work wise we've one site that Bubblesort is about to build. I won't say too much at the moment except that it's a portfolio site that will need some embedded media (which should be pretty fun to play with). There's also a couple of things on the horizon that we're hoping will work out. So the good news is there will be a couple of Bubblesort built sites out there fairly soon.
I should point out that this is very much a blog placeholder. We'll move to a proper blog with the final Bubblesort website which will have comment facilites and such. We hope to use it to go into detail on some of the technical aspects of software development that interest us but we have some more pressing issues to attend to before we can indulge in that. Watch this space...
